Kuching: OM Materials (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd (OM Sarawak) has signed a commitment letter with a syndicate of leading regional and international lenders for about US$315mil to provide debt financing for its ferro-alloy smelting plant project in Samalaju Industrial Park in Bintulu.

The Project financing comprised limited resource senior project finance debt facilities totalling US$215mil of performance and payment securities for the construction, commissioning and operation of the project.
The group of lenders comprise Export-Import Bank of Nalaysia Bhd, RHB Bank Bhd, Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Bhd and Malayan Banking Bhd.......
