SHAH ALAM, June 24 (Bernama) -- The Selangor Tithe Board (LZS) on
Monday received tithes amounting to RM4,301,559 from Bank Kerjasama
Rakyat Malaysia (Bank Rakyat).

The tithe was handed over to the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin
Idris Shah by Bank Rakyat chairman Tan Sri Sabbaruddin Chik at Istana
Bukit Kayangan, here.
Also present were LZS chairman Tan Sri Syed Anwar Syed Putra
Jamalullail, Selangor Islamic Religious Council chairman Datuk Setia
Mohamad Adzib Mohd Isa and Selangor Mufti Datuk Setia Mohamad Tamyes
Abdul Wahid.
The tithe was for the Bank Rakyat's financial year ended Dec 31, 2012 for the state, LZS said in a statement here.
