KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 7 (Bernama) -- Prudential BSN Takaful (PruBSN)
intends to maintain its position as the number one takaful operator in
Malaysia this year, said its chief executive officer, Azim K. Mithani.
It achieved its goal of being the number one takaful operator in the
first quarter of last year, after being involved in the segment for six
years.
For the first quarter of this year, PruBSN was also the leading takaful operator in Malaysia, he said.
Azim said this performance marked another milestone in the company's
history as its market share was also increased to 29.1 per cent.
"We are happy with our performance and will work hard to maintain it
every year," he told reporters at the company's Hari Raya Open House
here Friday.
