Malaysia's Exim Bank gets A3 rating from Moody’s

KUALA LUMPUR: Moody's Investors Service has assigned an A3 rating to Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Bhd's (Exim Bank) proposed HKD-denominated senior unsecured fixed-rate notes, with a stable outlook.

The rating agency said Exim Bank's other ratings are A3 on its long-term foreign currency senior unsecured debt and (P)A3 on its long-term foreign currency senior unsecured medium-term notes (MTN) programme with a stable outlook. The proposed HKD-denominated notes would be issued pursuant to Exim Bank's US$1.5bil multi-currency MTN programme, Moody's said in a statement.
