KUANTAN, July 3 (Bernama) -- Five men claimed trial in the Magistrate's
Court here Wednesday to stealing an automated teller machine (ATM)
belonging to Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN).

Iskandar Lai Loi Mee, 26, Mohd Syaifuddin Jusoh, 34, Hail Lekir Halmi,
29, Fairul Azman Ab Razak, 25, and Jiva K.Ramasamy, 22, allegedly
committed the offence at the BSN ATM kiosk in Jalan Indera Mahkota 5 at
3.31 am on June 14.
Magistrate Noor Zahan Mohamad Ali set bail at RM3,000 with one surety
each, and fixed July 22 for mention. Deputy public prosecutor Ungku
Alfiati Zabedah Ungku Ismail appeared for the prosecution.
Meanwhile, Jiva claimed trial to another charge of stealing a car.
He allegedly committed the offence at the roadside in front of a house at Jalan Indera Mahkota 14 at 8.20 pm on June 4.
The accused was allowed bail of RM4,000 with one surety pending mention of the case on July 22.
